About me
I’m a clinical psychologist in private practice specialising in trauma, dissociation, and high-functioning anxiety. I provide individual therapy, group workshops, and clinical supervision. My experience includes private practice, psychiatric inpatient settings, and international humanitarian work with Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders in clinical and leadership roles. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology (2007) and a Master of Psychology (Clinical) (2013). I am an EMDR Association of Australia Accredited Consultant.
Who I work with
I support adults (21+) looking for meaningful, lasting change. Many of my clients have tried talk therapy before but continue to experience persistent negative life patterns despite having great insight.
I see high-performing professionals who are functioning well externally but privately struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, not feeling good enough, rumination, burnout risk, or relationship strain. This can include leadership demands, public visibility, and chronic pressure to perform.
I have a particular interest in working with women who have survived trauma (or many traumas) and are rebuilding their lives and finding themselves at any age.
I also work with medical and mental health professionals, including other psychologists. My practice is inclusive and neurodiversity-affirming.
How I work
My primary modalities are EMDR and, increasingly, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), integrated with other evidence-based approaches to match client's goals and capacity. My style is direct, collaborative, and depth-informed. Where helpful, therapy is structured and goal-oriented; where needed, we work carefully with the body and nervous system to increase stability before trauma processing.
Common issues I treat
Please note
For safety and quality of care, I’m unable to assist clients in active addiction, or those with severe personality or eating disorders, as these typically require more specialised and intensive services.
Supervision
I provide supervision and peer consultation for mental health professionals seeking to deepen skills in trauma, dissociation, anxiety, EMDR, and parts work approaches. As an EMDR Consultant, I enjoy supporting practitioners with EMDR case formulation and integrating trauma-informed approaches.
A bit more about me
Outside of work, I’m a parent to a spirited toddler. In rare quiet moments, I enjoy creative projects, time in nature, travel, and meditation.
